The Northeast Ohio Chapter of Mothers & More serves members from Geauga, Lake, Ashtabula and Cuyahoga counties.

Our Mission

Mothers & More is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of mothers through support, education and advocacy. We address mothers’ needs as individuals and members of society and promote the value of all the work mothers do.

What our group has to offer

Support & Friendship for Moms

  • Meetings- For Moms only, the 3rd Wednesday of designated months, 7:00 p.m. Meetings include informative guest speakers or lively topical discussions. Meetings are usually held at St. Mary's Church in Chardon. (Map) Occasionally, our meeting location changes. Please contact us (see the "Become a Member" link above) before attending your first meeting.

  • Moms' Nights Out- An evening a month for moms to get out together and socialize (e.g., dinner, a movie, wine-tasting, crafts, seeing a play, hiking, game night, visiting a comedy club)

  • Membership Directory

  • Chapter Newsletter- The "Gab Bag"

  • Monthly Book Club

  • Monthly Bunco Night

Activities for Children

  • Weekly Playgroups- Moms and kids meet on various weekdays, 10 am - 12 noon. Meeting location rotates between playgroup members' homes.

  • Kids Outings- Monthly weekday outings to:
    • Museums,
    • Easter Egg Hunt/"Spring Fling" Party,
    • The zoo,
    • Waterparks,
    • And other special events.

Activities for Families

  • Holiday Parties (e.g., Halloween Party and December Holiday Party)

  • Family Outings- catch a ball game, attend a play or picnic with other families.
